I have been using a couple of alternative treatment solutions, and trying to eat better and manage stress.

I take L-Lysine supplements, and this seems to keep my ob's to a minimum. When I do have a rare ob I use dynamiclear and it works perfectly. These treatments are far less expensive than the pharmaceutical ones, and I feel better about how I'm treating my liver, too. LOL

Anyone else have experiences to share?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to find natural solutions to prevent and soothe my herpes. Sometimes my outbreaks last a few weeks and the painful and uncomfortable experience is unbearable. I've tried lemon balm which works fantastic, you can even make it yourself for really cheap! Pain relievers are cooled tea bags, silica gel, vitamin E cream and tea tree oil. I feel like I've tried and tested them all. Any other natural remedies anyone can suggest?

I was prescribed ta Valtrex generic for a 10 day treatment.  After it ended I was reading up on what others were trying for a natural control

I am now trying the L-Lysine, 1000 mg dose 1-3 times a day as needed and echinacea, Whole herb, 400 mg, once a day.  Being newly diagnosed not sure if it is working or not but just keeping upbeat about it.
